Description

This is a (1641-43) Great Britain--England--1 Shilling NGC AU58 Charles I S-2799 (About/Almost Uncirculated 58--Spink#2799). This larger sized silver hammered coin has light traces of wear and some exceptional details. This coin comes from the Tower Mint (Triangle in Circle) and has clear mintmarks on each side. There is some little pieces of brownish residue-like substance (not sure exactly what it is) on the shield.
