This is a 1697-y (York) Great Britain Shilling Silver Coin in Circulated Condition. This coin has some obvious signs of wear on each side and an overall almost just like a grayish look. The date is still legible, but may have to be angled in order to really see it in its entirety. The coin weighs about 5.56g and is just a hair bigger than a United States Quarter in diameter.
