1943 Maryland License Plates ORIGINAL MATCHING Pair of Tabs on dated 1942 bases

This pair of license plates is 100% all original, with no restoration of any kind. Maryland did not issue tabs that matched the numbers of the plate, however the numbers etched on ORIGINAL pairs of tabs did match each other. This is the case with these tabs, which are original to the plates.

I do not know if this pair is DMV clear...
HOWEVER: Even if you do not plan to register these plates to your car, a nice model-year pair like this is always good to have, simply to display on your vintage auto at car shows, local parades, and other events featuring classic cars.
