a very attractive issued (#495) .00 Obsolete Currency Note from The Somerset and Worcester Savings
Bank, of Salisbury, Maryland, depicting a Maiden with Flowers in her hair (TL), a Blacksmith
adjusting a Wheelbarrow (UC), a girl blowing on a dandelion (LR), and three ornate 3's.  BLT-25

Show Cancelled
by the United States Post Office on March 24, 2007
at The Whitman Baltimore Coin and Currency Convention, in Baltimore, Maryland.
I believe this was the last Baltimore Coin and Currency Convention that the United
States Post Office participated in, and hand cancelled the show's Souvenir Cards.
Very few of these cards were hand cancelled by the U. S. P. S. during the show.
This issue was not serial numbered, but will be of the same quality as pictured.
Only 500 of these privately issued Souvenir Cards were originally printed.
Privately issued show Souvenir Cards have become a lot more desirable recently, as the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (B.E.P.) and the American Bank Note Company (ABNCo) no longer issue their high quality engraved Souvenir Cards, for many of the numismatic events, as they did in the past.  Many Souvenir Card Collectors have now taken an interest in privately issued Souvenir Cards, that were printed and issued by local coin clubs, and coin shows.   While not the extremely high quality engraved B.E.P. and ABNCo Souvenir Cards, many privately issued Souvenir Cards were not produced in very large quantities, and often times are much scarcer and harder to locate then many of the B.E.P. and ABNCo issues.  Over the past 40 years we have accumulated many of these very interesting Souvenir Cards and are now offering them for sale.
