This is the updated MAGNA mirror that Acura put in their later models, not the earlier Donnelly version that had a lot of leaking auto dim and cloudy mirror issues. The MAGNA version is an upgrade to the Donnelly version. These mirrors are completely interchangeable on the Acura models listed below. Magna bought out Donnelly years ago and improved their mirrors. The mounting pivot is bigger and stronger and the mirror glass compared to a typical Donnelly is much cleaner and clearer, although that may be just due to the Donnelly mirrors are older and the mirror glass tends to turn yellow. Magna mirrors rarely have auto dimming leakage or mirror clouding. This mirror is an upgrade over the original Donnelly mirror and is a superior replacement for a defective Donnelly mirror.
