Antique Chinese 5 Tier Wood Woven Wedding Dowry Box Brass Square Stacked Basket

Description

Square antique Chinese stacking picnic basket handmade of intricately woven rattan over lacquered wood. Brass accents adorn the wood handle.   Born in China during the early years of the 20th century, this basket measures 9.5" tall (without handle), 15" tall with handle and 6"x6" wide. The bottom tier is double layered and the top three tiers are removable along with the lid.  It is in excellent condition for it's age.
