ANTIQUE CHINESE WOVEN WICKER LIDDED HAND PAINTED SEWING BASKET.
Antique Chinese sewing basket, with green and red painted decoration. These baskets  were originally sold filled with dried fruit, nuts, and tea, then later used for sewing baskets.
This basket measures 5.75" wide and 3.5" high.
It would have originally  held a round tin of tea.
It is still in good condition, especially for its age and type, but it does have some wear and dust in the crevases.
