Very nice, antique/vintage Chinese wedding basket with handle (I think this would make a lovely sewing basket too!).   This woven 2 tier, lidded basket is adorned with beads on the top lid.  The top tier basket is lined and tufted - as well as inside the lid!  Beautifuly done.  Signed.  Expected patina from age - a stunning piece.
These baskets were used to bring food to newlyweds.
