Collectors of perfin stamps collect them in two major ways: they may collect PERFIN TYPES, that is, one copy of each perfin type, or collect PERFIN ISSUES, that is one copy of each perfin type on every different stamp on which it has been used. We have here a lot for collectors of perfin issues.
This lot contains 4 different Canadian private perfins on 9 stamps.
The same perfin (perforated initials) is often more than once in the lot, but on different stamps. The same stamp may be more than once in the lot, but with different perfins. Here are the perfin numbers as per Johnson and Tomasson,

, Fourth Edition. In (   ), we give the numbers of different stamps with this perfin: C46 (4), C51 (3), L1 (1) and T12 (1). One of the C51 has multiple perfins. To these, we have added 4 stamps with official OHMS perfins. There maybe stamps with straight edges, light thins or tears. Some perfins may be split or incomplete. But all in all, the stamps and the perfins are at least in good condition, many being in FVF condition. This lot is a good one with many useful and not-to-easy-to-get stamps.
