    Description

Here is an empty perfume bottle that held Ben Hur, a fragrance introduced by Jergens in 1904. The bottle is 3.75 inches tall. It has a frosted ground glass stopper with a floral design on top; the bottom of the stopper has a long dauber rod that is fully intact.
This displays beautifully and it will go nicely with other perfume bottles from the Art Deco or Art Nouveau eras.
The label on the front face is in very good condition. The neck of the bottle still has some of the original cording around it, as well as a label that says "JERGENS" on it. There are some brown perfume stains on this label, but it's still legible. There is also a very small chip on the outer edge of the bottle's lip, as shown in the 10th photo. And finally, there are some scratches along the bottom surface of the bottle (11th and 12th photos).
The inside of the bottle still smells like perfume.
