    SIGNED AND DESIGNED BY Charles MEWES (French 1860-1914)
    The clear crystal bottle and stopper in the form of an upright turtle
    with a faceted head and shell, frosted and gray patinated glass flippers
    and a central gilt embossed paper label
    circular acid etch marked base
    accompanied by original red box with cream silk lined interior.
    Height: 4 1/2" Width: 2 3/4" Depth: 1 1/4"
    CIRCA 1914
    The crystal flacon and stopper in good condition
    (just a little chip at the stopper like you can see on the photo 8)
    no cracks or repairs
    Bottle's gilt embossed paper label is quite worn
    but remains fully intact and adhered to the bottle
    The original red box is intact, though is also very worn and fragile.
    The cream silk interior has a number of stains
    and is fraying significantly in some areas.
