Basket area is 23 inches high. 18 inches across and girth is 58 inches. Actual weight is 8 lbs. There is a lid, two removable baskets, and the one forming the bottom makes three separate sections. Could be used for anything, traditionally used for food transport, drying, and storage. Smaller, but similar and less ornate baskets from other Asian countries are often called Wedding Baskets.
