Description
Up for auction is a Nina Ricci’s Lalique Coeur Joie Perfume bottle, in an early boxed presentation.  This was the first perfume launched by Robert Ricci in 1946.  The bottle was designed by Marc Lalique and the bottle is a beautiful clear glass and frosted bottle with a cut out in the center that is a heart.  The romantically themed garland flower design on both the front and back of the bottle make for a very beautiful bottle.
The graphics on the white silk like fabric of the box were done by Christian Bérard.  The gold graphics in the center of the box appear to be a lady and child peeking out from under some heart like leaves.  (This box is the original design which may help explain its condition and age).
White silk box on the exterior is probably commiserate with its age, there are some dirt marks in various places on the box.  The box is edged in gold trim all around the end areas.
The interior of the box is very poor due to the fact the perfume bottle leaked at some point onto the white silk lining, which has NR (for Nina Ricci) scattered over the fabric
The interior lid also has some scratches and there is a beautiful logo of 3 dancing ladies above the name, Nina Ricci.
The condition of the frosted and clear glass bottle is excellent.  I do not see any damage.
The bottle was probably opened at some point due to the perfume leakage.  I cannot open the stopper.  I will leave to the new owner to open.
This is a small amount of perfume remaining.  Due to the age, and the fact I cannot smell it, the perfume is not guaranteed
The stopper is a beautiful rounded piece of art with a short dauber (you can see thru the neck)
Both the sides and interior of the heart like center are clear, and the sides are not smooth but rather curved ridges.  The rest of the bottle is frosted with the beautiful garland flower design over the bottle
The bottom center on one side reads:  Nina Ricci and on the other side:  COEUR JOIE.
Underside of bottle is polished and reads:
Bottle Made by Lalique France
Height of the bottle is:  4 1/8 inches tall
