Lot of 3 Antique Vintage Ben Hur Mini Blown Glass Perfume Bottles ~
The Ben-Hur line of products was developed by the Andrew Jergens Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1904; it was named after Lew Wallace's novel of 1880 which went on to become a Broadway production in 1898, and later a silent movie.  The perfume predated the 1925 motion picture by at least two decades!  The product line included perfume face powder, cleansing cream, talcum powder, bath oils, bath lotions and deodorants.
These three hand blown bottles originally contained Ben Hur perfume.  They measure approx 2-3/4" tall.  The straight bottle has a label that is in very good condition.  One curved bottle has most of its label; the cork has fallen into the bottle.  The other curved bottle has no label but the cork with its glass dauber is still in place.  There are also a few drops of perfume left.  The cork is held firmly in place by what might be tape; I have not attempted to open it; if someone wishes to open the bottle you do so at your own risk, we are not responsible for any damage you may cause to the bottle, the stopper, or the dauber!
