    Description
Up for auction is a rarely seen boxed presentation for Richard Hudnut, RSVP Perfume in the box.  It is sized as a ½ fl Oz.  It is in the original triangular card box, which is in fair condition, but which has protected the perfume and bottle all of these years.  Bottle is still sealed.
R.S.V.P. was introduced in 1936 and this is a very different presentation than some of the other boxed sets I have seen.  The fragrance has been described as a Floral Chypre for women.  However, due to the age the fragrance is not guaranteed.  It has been sealed and kept in a box, but even if it smells ok, its age will impact the longevity of this fragrance.
The box is a sideway triangular shape, with a grey and light pink coloration.  The box is spotted on the front, perhaps it was in a basement which the change in temperature could result in the spotting.
The front of the box is outlined like an envelope, with RSVP in the center.  There is a grey ribbon tied at the bottom of the box cover and the bottle sits in a silver-colored cardboard base.  The top and sides of the box have a number of grey lines, and the name of the fragrance is on top of the box.
The perfume bottle resembles a modernistic inkwell to me.
The bottle is clear glass in a rounded sideway triangle.
The silver foil and pink has some wear on the edges, it appears some of the silver has come off.
The stopper is glass, shaped like a frosted white feather.  At the base of the bottle neck and stopper there is some old plastic or  yellowed cellophane that covers the neck and bottom of the stopper (backside yellowed cellophane has come off around neck, I will include).  The stopper is still sealed, and I have not tried to open it
The glass bottle, other than the label, is in very good condition.
The bottle appears to be molded diamond shape
Height of the bottle is:  about 3 1/8 inches tall

Shipping is free to winning domestic bidder.  If you live in Texas, will need to pay state sales tax.  Email me any questions.  If you like what you see here, please take the time to check out the other vintage items I have up for auction.  Thanks!
