Vintage 1940's Ideal Baby Coo Doll and is very rare
These dolsl came in many sizes and my doll is 14"Ideal "Baby Coos" Magic Skin Baby Doll (Marked Ideal Doll and SP-1)
Her dress that she is wearing is MINT, I bought it new on ebay years ago. Pink floral cotton with a 2 snap closure
organdy panties and under shirt in a cotton original rayon socks and original oilcloth tie shoes.
She has the latex stuffed magic skin, soft and squishy like a real baby most others have either darkened to black through the years, or cracked and ripped, falling apart. She has small indentations to her latex, it has held up nicely through the years with only the tiniest little split on her left leg which is secured well. there is a tiny nick in her hair on left side
She makes a Coo sound when you press her tummy .Nice blue eyes with all her long dark lashes.
I would display her and not let anyone play with her because she is so fragile. I kept her in a curio cabinet away from sun and a/c home.
