  • Condition: Up for auction is a vintage Dana, Tabu Perfume in a gorgeous Crystal perfume Bottle. Perfume bottle is laying in a see thru box, on faux pink-white velvet. The condition of the plastic case is not bad, with only scratches to the plastic surface as expected for an item this old. (Probably from the 1960’s since there is a zip code on the back of the box). There may be a tiny spot or two on the velvet background. The clear glass crystal bottle, with a multitude of diamond designs on both the front and back of the bottle are beautiful and are in excellent condition. The gold screw cap appears to be gold colored plastic and is frozen on the bottle, that is I cannot open it up. The design on the top of the screw cap is a copy of the bottle design. The screw cap has a little wear on the cap, but it is not bad. The bottle has never leaked. I am not sure what this fragrance will smell like if you do get it open, because it is a perfume, there is a chance it will still smell fine.

    Description
    Up for auction is a vintage Dana, Tabu Perfume in a gorgeous Crystal perfume Bottle.  Perfume bottle is laying in a see thru box, on faux pink-white velvet.  Tabu was introduced in 1932 and is an Amber Floral fragrance.  My father got this fragrance for my mother in a HUGE bottle for Christmas one year.  If we girls were good, my mom would let us put some of this fragrance on our pulse points in the early 1960’s and we felt so "special". Besides Apple blossom stick cologne, this fragrance was one of the earliest and most memorable fragrances of my childhood.
    The condition of the plastic case is not bad, with only scratches to the plastic surface as expected for an item this old.  (Probably from the 1960’s since there is a zip code on the back of the box).
    There may be a tiny spot or two on the velvet background.
