    Description
Up for auction is a box of 12 Fragonard Perfume Bottles in a Box.  Condition of the box is poor as it has come apart, but someone can probably put it back together.  The paper on the box is beautiful.  Although the majority of the fragrance has deteriorated in the bottles, I am selling this for the perfume bottles, as a set this size is very unusual.
Perfume bottles are mainly empty, but some of the bottles still have a small amount of the fragrance remaining.  Due to the age, the fragrance if it exists is not guaranteed and do not resemble the original scent.  The perfume bottles have not been cleaned out, so some of the bottles have old perfume residue that has dried up.  The square brass stoppers with a paper label on top of them are all screw caps and some of them will open, or others may be frozen.
Shown in picture one is a photo of all of the bottles in the two-row box.  Starting with the bottom row, photos of the top of the stoppers are shown, starting from the left side.  I have included a few bottles separately.  I believe most of these bottles are in a classic style that was popular in the late 1940’s.  The underside of the bottles are embossed Made in France.  Height of the bottles are about 2 inches tall.
Dimensions of the box holding the perfume bottles is roughly 6 ½ inches wide by 3 ¾ inches tall.  Note:  I will send the 3 box pieces that have fallen off the box as well as the old brownish tissue that was in the lid.  I will wrap each bottle screw cap with parafilm to ensure there is no leaking of fluid in transit to new buyer.
