Antique Ideal Cloth Compostiton Vintage Walking Walker Old Jointed Baby Doll. Listed as used with an unknown history and origin. This is a very interesting doll in my opinion. Her legs have an old walking mechanism with heavy fitted rods, and large round fittings on the inside and outside of her legs/torso. Her hands are in beautiful condition. She does have some spotting and age to her body. She has some minimal paint loss and crazing on her head, expected with age. Her eyes open/close easy. Her eyes maybe tin. They are not glass for sure. I am guessing by the look and sound they are tin. However, I might be wrong. There are hair and glue marks from a wig long gone, it has been replaced with a wispy little hair piece that is double faced taped on. She has a hole in the center of her head. I have no idea why, it does appear factory made. She is very hard stuffed. Her clothing is not original. It is age appropriate and does show yellowing. I do think the lavender ribbon has been replaced at some point, as one leg has remanent of an older ecru ribbon. She has a blouse, onesie with legs, and a skirt over. The clothing is very well made.
