Up for auction is a vintage L. T. Piver, Fetiche perfume bottle with its box.  This fragrance was introduced to the world in 1925.  When I first saw the advertisement for this perfume, I was mesmerized.  It consisted of a Nude woman in the center of 3 large yellow and orange flames or flower like design.  And this fragrance was noted to be Youth’s own fragrance.  Well, I bought this bottle despite the poor condition of the bottle label and the fact that the crystal stopper was broken off the neck.  Perhaps you will feel a pull to this presentation, despite its poor condition!
The fact that this bottle and box are still together after so many years is itself a miracle!   The condition of the box is fair.  There is some sort of residue on the box top side (about 3/8 inches long).  The box is a black and gold checkerboard pattern with a black silk moire paper (wavy appearance on the black silk paper) in the center of the box lid and the Fetiche sticker in the center.  The box underside is also moire.
The interior of the bottle shows a large perfume stain on the box interior.
As mentioned, the crystal stopper is broken off the neck of the bottle.  Although the neck has a lot of old perfume built up around the neck, you can probably still glue the crystal top to the bottle, especially if you clean it up a bit.  I did not do that so that the new owner could see the condition the neck and bottle were in.
The perfume bottle itself is not in bad condition.  Bottle is clear glass, with rounded shoulders and black and clear squares on the bottom two rows.  Some of the black has worn off the squares.  The black square are slightly higher than the clear square.
The large Fetiche label is damaged with a lot of perfume / dirt on it.
The interior of the bottle still has a few dregs of fragrance in the bottle interior.  You can smell a faint still nice fragrance around the neck.
This bottle appears to have been molded around the top and around neck and there are a few short lines radiating out from the neck, I don’t think they are anything to worry about.
The condition of the crystal stopper, has a pretty clean break on the underside so I think it would be easy enough to reglue to the neck
The underside of the bottle is polished.
Height of the bottle without the stopper in place is 3 inches.

Despite the daage to this presentation the box is in not bad and this bottle is very rarely seen anymore.  Would still make a great display if stopper fixed to bottle.
