Vintage Leaping Trout Ceramic Figurine Blue Waves

This beautifully crafted leaping trout figurine may just jump into your heart as it did into mine! It has a vintage look and although there are no labels, marks, or signatures it also has the look and feel of similar items made in Japan. The trout is leaping out of swirling waves, its tail curled to one side. It is blue over white porcelain and has hand painted details. It is in Very Good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is a tiny area on the right side (from the fish's point of view), below the dorsal fin, where the glaze did not adhere. There is also a diagonal line from the waves to †he lower end of the dorsal fin on the left side. Both of these issues are factory flaws, and aren't noticeable unless you are looking closely. Please see the photos. The figure is 6" tall, by 4" by 4".
