Description
Up for auction is a rarely seen presentation by Lentheric for the perfume Tweed.  Because this company was sold several times after the founder passed away in 1912, the use of this bottle is not very clear.  Several years ago I had an identical bottle to this one, only for the fragrance Shanghai.  The fragrance Shanghai was originally introduced in 1911 as Coer de Paris and later changed to the name Shanghai in 1936.  Tweed was introduced in 1933.  So apparently, Tweed used this bottle prior to Shanghai or else they used it for both fragrances.
The condition of this glass or crystal bottle is excellent.  Bottle is empty but I cleaned it out.  The sides have like a twisted cane on each side.
The underside is polished.
There are two small flakes on the edge of the underside, see last photo
Also on the underside is a small round paper label, see last photo to read what it says
Around the neck of the bottle is a copper cording that has a small copper/metal like label attached.  The information is the same on both sides which reads:

The clear glass or crystal helmet shaped stopper comes off easily.  In the interior of this item is a small stopper—see photos 9
Overall, the condition of the neck is fine, there are probably minor flea bites.
The condition of the white paper Tweed label at the bottom of the bottle is poor.  The label is torn and has lost the font color, perhaps the metal covering came off’
The condition of the silver metallic label at the bottom of the bottle is very good.
Height of this bottle is:  4 inches and about 2 inches wide+
