    Description

    Vintage MD License Plate, 1940, it has no original paint, very rusty, front and back. Not a trace of original paint anywhere, but the metal is still solid. Plate says “405-186” and across the bottom edge “MARYLAND
    EX-3-31-40”
    It was so rusted I thought about throwing it away, but we share a birth year, and I’m not ready for the scrap heap.
    This plate is one of the larger 13’’ x 6’’ plates and would make an interesting bit of décor, even if never attached to a rusted out hulk of a 1940 automobile.
