Description
This is a pretty pair of cobalt blue cologne bottles that once held one of the world’s most romantic fragrance, “Evening in Paris”.The larger bottle measures approximately 4 ½” in height and contained 1 fl. oz. of cologne while the smaller version stands 3 1/8” in height and contained .50 fl. oz.
Each empty bottle features a stunning cobalt blue colored glass and silver foil labels but are different in shape, bottle caps and label designs.
Both were manufactured in New York by the French cosmetics company, Bourjois.
Despite some interior residue, minor scuffs/scratches and wear to the labels, both bottles are in very good condition with no evidence of damage.
Note
: Also known in France as “Soir de Paris”, this perfume was created by Ernest Beaux for the French perfumer, Bourjois in 1928.
It was sold in department stores and drug stores for over thirty years.
