WW2 GERMAN STAHLHELM M40 STEEL HELMET ORIGINAL ARMY MILITARY RELIC NOT M35 M42

Description

Original WW2 German M40 steel Stahlhelm Helmet. Has stamoed vent hole rivets and a folded edge which classifies it as an m40 helmet. Helmet is still in one piece, it does have some areas where original paint is still showing, but otherwise it is pitted and there is one area in the rear of the helmet where it looks like it rusted through, but otherwise the helmet is solid and intact, I tapped on the surface of the helmet and there were no other weak spots, everything else was intact. This helmet as it is would make an excellent collector/display piece as an original WW2 relic; however, if you are a welder that is good with resin you may be able to restore the helmet with some patience, skill, and elbow grease, idk... that is for you to decide.
